Events

 

ICE FISHING CONTEST & RAFFLE                        

Held the last Sunday of January and includes door prizes on the ice and a raffle drawing.

  

CHICKEN DINNER

Held the last Sunday of January during the Ice Fishing Contest.  Dinners is served in our social hall or they can be order and delivered to the lake.

 

GOLF OUTING

Held the 2nd Saturday in August and includes a polka Mass and dinner on the following Sunday.

 

RUMMAGE SALE

A one day community rummage sale on one of the first Saturday's in May where our social hall is filled with furniture of all kinds, all types of cloths; boys and girls as much as you can fill a grocery bag, kitchen and bath items, and anything else you can imagine is donated by over 150 families.  There's something for everyone including a raffle, bake sale, light lunch, and an outdoor plant sale.

 

FLOTILLA

Fun, food, and fellowship pontoon activity held during the summer on one of our area lakes.

   

1ST SUNDAY COFFEE AND DONUTS 

Coffee and donuts served after each Mass on the 1st Sunday of every month.

 

HOLIDAY BAZAAR

Every year vendors fill the church social hall area for our annual holiday bazaar held in November.  Breakfast is served with rolls and coffee along with a fabulous lunch in the afternoon.  Our cookbooks are on sale and you might have a chance to win an incredible quilt made by one of our parishioners.

 

TABLE OF PLENTY 

The "Table of Plenty" offers an open opportunity to old and new members of St. Joseph Parish to meet in fellowship, sharing a noon potluck luncheon, one Thursday of each month.  The free will offering is used for special needs of the church, and as a source of benefit to charitable organizations such as the Community Outreach Agency, the Shelter for the Homeless, or other needy groups.  Please check your bulletin and calendars for the next scheduled Thursday for "Table of Plenty".

  

COOKBOOKS-HOMEMADE WITH CARE

Recipes can be obtained from our "Homemade With Love" cookbook, which is in its second printing. Stop by the parish office and buy  your copy today for only $20 each. Or you can buy two for $30.

 

CALENDAR RAFFLE

A fund raising activity in which calendars are sold like raffle tickets for $20 per calendar.  Drawings are held daily for six months (July-December) of each year.  They can be purchased before the raffle drawings start from the parish office or any members of the church.

 

ST. JOSEPH FAMILY GUILD

As a registered member of St. Joseph Faith Community, you automatically become a member of our parish's Family Guild.  The meetings are on an as needed basis.  The Family Guild is the major parish organization that handles the following activities:  Funeral Luncheons, Chicken Dinner, Fall Bazaar, and Deanery Meetings.

 

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS:

A service and fraternal organization that is active in our parish.  The meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.

 

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS

The second weekend of every month, there are trained professional to do blood pressure checks following Mass on Saturday as well as following each Mass on Sunday.
