Ordination Mass

Support Priestly Ordinations by Your Presence at the Cathedral on June 4th

The entire diocese is invited to the Cathedral of Christ the King in Superior on Sunday, June 4th at 4:00 in the afternoon to celebrate the Ordination of Samuel Schneider to the Priesthood.  This Mass fulfills the obligation for Pentecost Sunday.  All diocesan clergy are invited to attend, vested as concelebrating Priests or as non-assisting Deacons.  Bishop James Powers is our Priest-Celebrant and homilist.  Show your support for Sam, along with our Diocesan Chorale, a combined Knights of Columbus Honor Guard, and many others.  Light refreshments will be served in Kress Hall following the liturgy.  When our diocesan family gathers, we witness to the world in a powerful way—come and be a part of this happy occasion!

Baptism Classes

We welcome infants into our parish community through the sacrament of  Baptism, an expression of the parents’ commitment to the Faith and a sign of God’s love and care for the child.  Welcomed by Name is a program of  welcome, connection and conversion and consists of one class for about an hour.  It is preferable to attend prior to the birth of your child. If you are expecting a baby please register as we will not have another class for a while. Class for our Cluster will be Thursday, June 8th at St. Joseph.  Registration is required. Contact Melissa at SJ 715-268-7717 or Sally at OLL 715-405-2253 to register.
