We welcome infants into our parish community through the sacrament of Baptism, an expression of the parents’ commitment to the Faith and a sign of God’s love and care for the child. Welcomed by Name is a program of welcome, connection and conversion and consists of one class for about an hour. It is preferable to attend prior to the birth of your child. If you are expecting a baby please register. The next class for our cluster will be Thursday, September 14th at St. Joseph. Registration is required. Contact Melissa at SJ 715-268-7717 or Sally at OLL 715-405-2253 to register.
St. Joseph Library
St. Joseph now has a functioning library. The library is located in the hospitality room off of the gathering area. If you would like to check out a book please sign it out in the book on the podium and return the book in the basket next to the podium.
Flowers for Mary
We are looking for volunteers to bring a vase of flowers from your garden or a purchased arrangement. The flowers are placed by the statue of Mary. Please use the calendar by the office door to sign up for a weekend.
Fortnight for Freedom
Fortnight for Freedom is from June 21—the vigil of the Feasts of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More—to July 4, Independence Day. This is a time when the liturgical calendar features the lives of men and women of faith who bear witness to authentic freedom in Christ. We are called to follow Christ as missionary disciples by seeking the truth, serving others, and living our faith in all that we do. Let us take a few moments each day from June 21 - July 4 to pray, reflect, and take action on religious liberty, both here in this country and abroad.
Bible Study will continue at Our Lady of the Lakes at 10 am every Thursday after 9 am Mass. Jere Briggs will lead the study with the Book of Romans. Everyone Welcome!
This weekend is the last weekend to bring in your Calendar Raffle Tickets. We cannot accept any tickets after June 30th by State Law.
St. Joseph holds a Holiday Bazaar each year in November. Jane Dobbs has been the chairperson for the last few years. She is looking for someone to team up with her for this year’s Bazaar and then become the chairperson next year. If you are interested or have any questions about the Bazaar, please contact Jane at 715-948-2419
