 Catholic Services Appeal

The 2016/2017 Catholic Services Appeal is an opportunity for us, as a faith family, to join together to do the work of the Lord. This year our assessment @ SJ is $30,945. So far we have raised $23,225 leaving a balance of $7,720.  OLL has an assessment of $27,416. So far we have raised $23, 974 leaving a balance of $3,442. Please prayerfully consider donating to this appeal.  


Communication Center

If you are looking for past bulletins, lay ministry schedules, Faith Formation schedules, etc., you can always find them in our communication center located by the bathrooms in the gathering area.


Like” our Facebook Page

Don’t forget to “like” St. Joseph’s Facebook Page.  Our Facebook page updates events and other activities going on in the parish.  It is also useful to parents and youth of the Faith Formation page as we put schedule changes on Facebook.


Hall & Table Rental

If you need to borrow tables from the church for garage sales or other events, please call in advance to reserve them.  They are available for a free-will  offering.  The social hall is also available to rent for graduation & other parties. Ask for JoAnne 715-268-7717.


SJ Store

Do you need a Bible? Or maybe a small gift? We have a small store inside the parish office that might have what you need. The office is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5 pm.


Donations Needed

Donations of non-perishable foods and hygiene items are needed. Always needed are canned meats, tuna, canned fruit and vegetables, juices, canned or dry pasta, sauces, boxed dinners, cereal, peanut butter and jelly. We can also use paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent and dish soap. Monetary donations can also be made at the address below:

St. Joseph will host Vacation Bible School this year on July 31st through August 3rd from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Dinner provided. Maker Fun Factory: Created by God, Built for a Purpose is the Theme.  Registration was sent out to children going into grades K-6. Please turn in registration forms if you have not done so yet. 


Children’s Bulletin

St. Joseph now provides Children’s Bulletins that include fun activities. There is a basket with the bulletins and crayons in the gathering area before you enter the church. Please grab one before Mass if your children need something to occupy themselves.

Online credit card donations are accepted at St. Joseph Church.  If you would like to make a donation by credit card, go to our website  Once you are on the homepage click the tab that says donations on the top right screen.  If you have any questions contact St. Joseph office.


Let’s Play Ball!

Our parish is participating in the summer church co-ed softball league. Games are held Sunday evenings at Jorgenson Field. This Sunday, July 23rd, we play at 6:45 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for exercise, fun and fellowship. If you have questions call Rick Dado 715-491-1390 or Eric Wojchik 715-222-4154.  


Baptism Classes

We welcome infants into our parish community through the sacrament of  Baptism, an expression of the parents’ commitment to the Faith and a sign of God’s love and care for the child.  Welcomed by Name is a program of  welcome, connection and conversion and consists of one class for about an hour.  It is preferable to attend prior to the birth of your child. If you are expecting a baby please register. The next class for our cluster will be Thursday, September 14th at St. Joseph.  Registration is required. St. Joseph Library

St. Joseph now has a functioning library.  The library is located in the hospitality room off of the gathering area.  If you would like to check out a book please sign it out in the book on the podium and return the book in the basket next to the podium. 


Flowers for Mary

We are looking for volunteers to bring a vase of flowers from your garden or a purchased arrangement. The flowers are placed by the statue of Mary. Please use the calendar by the office door to sign up for a weekend.


Bible Study

Bible Study will continue at Our Lady of the Lakes at 10 am every Thursday after 9 am Mass. Jere Briggs will lead the study with the Book of Romans.  Everyone Welcome!

Holiday Bazaar

St. Joseph holds a Holiday Bazaar each year in November. Jane Dobbs has been the chairperson for the last few years. She is looking for someone to team up with her for this year’s Bazaar and then become the chairperson next year. If you are interested or have any questions about the Bazaar, please contact Jane at 715-948-2419


Outdoor Mass

St Joseph Parish will be hosting an outdoor Mass and Sweet Corn Feed Festival on Sunday, August 27th at 10:30 am at Michael Park.  JC Rock, a Christian Rock Group, will be performing. Please bring your lawn chair!

Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is an event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. All funds raised from the Amery Walk, will be tallied with the New Richmond Walk and distributed to those in need throughout our areas. The Amery walk will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at Amery Memory Care. Registration is at 9 am and the Ceremony/Walk is at 10 am. We are in need of helpers to set up/take down, register walkers, hand out flowers, hand out waters, take pictures, push residents in wheelchairs, etc. Please contact Amber Harris for information or if you would like to help. 715-268-4800

He was a primary supporter of the annual golf tournament for twenty years, annually providing 200 prizes for the Board Raffle and has helped raise a significant amount of funds each year for the church. Before his death, Jerry had accumulated the 200 prizes for this year’s Board Raffle. In addition, he tirelessly help painted the interior of the church. His music for the polka Masses will also be remembered by many.In Jerry’s memory, a parishioner has agreed to match dollar for dollar anyone making a contribution of $100 or more to a total maximum for all matches of $6,000. The $100 or more can be an outright contribution, individual golf sponsorship of $100 or more, $100 on the Board Raffle or by purchasing or selling more than $100 of raffle tickets. If you participate in this please put your check and sold raffle tickets in an envelope and mark it “matching contribution”. It can be placed in the collection basket or given to the parish office or to anyone selling raffle tickets or Board Raffle prizes in the church. Matching contributions must be made by August 13, 2017.
